PHILADELPHIA, PA — Thousands of pop-culture fans packed the Pennsylvania Convention Center from May 16–18 for FAN EXPO Philadelphia 2025, a three-day celebration of comics, movies, television, gaming, and cosplay that transformed Center City into a hub for fandom.
The annual convention drew tens of thousands of attendees eager to meet their favorite celebrities, shop exclusive collectibles, and showcase elaborate cosplay inspired by iconic characters from film, television, anime, and comic books. The event is considered one of the largest pop-culture conventions in the Northeast, attracting fans from across the region.

Fans had the chance to hear behind-the-scenes stories and career reflections from stars such as William Shatner, John Cena, Giancarlo Esposito, and Christopher Lloyd, drawing enthusiastic crowds to the convention’s main stages.
Cosplay remained a major highlight of the weekend, with fans arriving in detailed costumes representing characters from popular franchises such as Star Wars, Back to the Future, and Breaking Bad. The cosplay showcase and contests brought creativity and craftsmanship to the forefront as participants competed for prizes and recognition.
The convention floor also featured Artist Alley, where comic creators, illustrators, and independent artists connected with fans, signed prints, and displayed original artwork. Vendors filled the exhibition hall with comic books, vintage toys, gaming merchandise, and exclusive collectibles that kept attendees browsing throughout the weekend.
In addition to celebrity appearances and cosplay, the event offered a variety of interactive experiences, including gaming areas, fan panels, and workshops for aspiring artists and creators.
